Lead Lap Sliding Rule Calculator

The Lead Lap Sliding Rule Calculator by MRUK Tools is a precision tool for calculating how much lap is needed for lead flashings, valleys, lead bays and other lead details on a pitched roof.

The tool is designed to give a reading which relates to 100mm of vertical lap when used correctly.

How to use:

Hold the guide rule level and locate the datum point against the lead, located at the last set of head fixings (the lowest fixings)

Slide the second datum indicator arm into the roof slope until the second datum marker makes contact with the roof.

The indicator on the sliding arm will then denote the recommended lap length.
